PRESCHOOL GYMNASTICS

(AGES:  3YR - 5YR)

 

OUR PRESCHOOL PROGRAM INCORPORATE THE EARLIEST ASPECTS OF PHYSICAL FITNESS, BASIC MOTOR SKILLS, HAND EYE COORDINATION, STRENGTH & FLEXIBILITY.  CLASS ACTIVITIES INCLUDE: LEARNING BASIC JUMPS, ROLLS, BODY POSITIONS, STRETCHES, CLIMBING THROUGH AGE SPECIFIC OBSTACLE COURSES AND EQUIPMENT. 

 

*  CHILDREN MUST BE POTTY TRAINED &

    MUST BE ABLE TO LISTEN TO DIRECTIONS & WAIT THEIR 

    TURN IN LINE.

 

ALL AROUND GYMNASTICS

(AGES: 5YR AND UP)

 

AT GYMACT WE OFFER BEGINNING  -  ADVANCED LEVEL RECREATIONAL CLASSES THAT TEACH YOUR CHILD CORRECT GYMNASTICS TECNIQUE THROUGH STEP BY STEP SKILL PROGRESSIONS AND SPECIFIC DRILLS.   OUR RECREATIONAL PROGRAM GOAL IS FOR KIDS TO DEVELOP SELF CONFIDENCE AS THEY LEARN GYMNASTICS SKILLS ON ALL 4  OLYMPIC EVENTS - VAULT, BARS, BEAM & FLOOR.

 

LEARNING GYMNASTICS IS FUN AND CHALLENGING.  EVERY ATHLETE PROGRESSES AT DIFFERENT RATES AND TIMES.  WE CELEBRATE ACHEIVEMENT AT ALL LEVELS! 

TUMBLING

(AGES: 7YR AND UP)

 

TUMBLING CLASSES ARE DESIGNED TO HELP STUDENTS WITH A VARIETY OF OBJECTIVES ALLOWING EACH CHILD TO EXPERIENCE THE THRILL OF TUMBLING FROM THE BEGINNING TO ADVANCED LEVEL.

IN MANY CASES, THE STUDENTS WANT TO WORK ON THE ROUNDOFF BACKHANDSPRING (FLIP FLOP) SERIES AND ON MULTI-SKILL TUMBLING PASSES. 

 

*  WE RECOMMEND THAT CHILDREN MUST HAVE A STRONG CARTWHEEL AND BE ABLE TO SUPPORT THEIR BODY WEIGHT IN A HAND STAND TO BEGIN TUMBLING.
